United Bank of India (UBI) is one of the 14 major banks which were nationalized on July 19, 1969. Its predecessor the United Bank of India Ltd., was formed in 1950 with the amalgamation of four banks viz.

At Present United Bank of India has invites the applications from indian citizens candidates for the post of Probationary Officers Recruitment who have taken the Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees conducted by IBPS in 2011-12 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS. interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria of the Recruitment on the following post they can apply online for these posts.

Post Name : Probationary Officer JMGS – I (PO)

Total Opening(s) : 450 (SC-90, ST-70, OBC-114, GEN-176, OC-4, VI-23, HI-26) Posts.

Pay Scale : Rs. 14,500 To 25,700/-

Educational Qualification : The candidate should be Graduate in any discipline with 55% or more marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

Essential Requirement : The Candidate Should be have IBPS Score obtained in CWE for POs/MTs 2011-12. GEN - 138, SC/ST/PWD/OBC Categories - 125 TWS Cut-offs.

Age Limit : 21 To 30 Years.

Application Fee : Rs. 50/- For (SC/ST/PWD) and other category candidates Rs. 200/- to be paid Through CBS at any Branches of United Bank of India.

Selection Process : The Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011 and after that Group Discussion and Interview.
