Pandyan Grama Bank is a Region Rural Banak(RRB) Headquartered in Virudhunagar is sponsered by Indian Overseas bank. The bank has over 200 branches across 15 Districts. PGB Invites Applications for recruitment of Officers and officer Assistants.

No.of Vacancies and Payscale: 1) Office Assistant – 138 posts – Rs.12256 /month

2) Officer (scale I) – 84 posts – Rs.22142 /month

3) Officer (scale II) – 24 posts – Rs.29624 /month

4) Officer (scale III) – 2 posts – Rs.39244 /month

Eligibility Criteria

Age must be between 18yrs – 28yrs as on 26.8.2010
Should posses a Degree(any discipline) from a recognized university,
Should be Resident of tamilnadu with proficiency in the Tamil language & Basic Knowledge certificate in computers.
For Office Assistants:
Minimum 18yrs to 28yrs of age, as on 26.8.2010,
Must be a graduate (any degree), as on 30.9.2010
Should be Resident of tamilnbadu with proficiency in the Tamil language & Basic Knowledge certificate in computers.

he selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of written test and interview. Written test will be of Objective Type Consisiting of :-

For Officer Junior Management Scale-I:-

Reasoning, Numerical Ability,General Knowledge and Genaral english. Each part having 50 questions and a total time of 150 mins for 200 questions

For Officer Middle Management Scale-II:-

Reasoning, Quantiitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation, Financial Awareness and Genaral english. Each part having 50 questions and a total time of 150 mins for 200 questions.

For Officer Middle Management Scale-III:-

Reasoning, Quantiitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation, Financial Awareness and Genaral english. Each part having 50 questions and a total time of 150 mins for 200 questions.

For Office Assistant:-

Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General awareness, and either one of Genaral english and General Hindi. Each part having 50 questions and a total time of 150 mins for 200 questions.

Note:-

The candidates securing a minimum of 40% marks(35% for SC/ST/XS/PC) in the written test shall qualify for
interview in ratio of 1:3 depending upon number of Vacancies .
