Punjab and Sind bank is a public sector bank with good reputation and name in banking industry of India. Every year bank publish its advertisement details for various posts and invites application for various vacancies. Eligibility criterion and selection procedure
For most of the vacancies the candidate must be graduate with 55% marks from a recognized university. There is a relaxation of 5% fro reserved categories. The selection procedure consists of a written test followed by an interview. The written test is objective as well as descriptive in nature. The question in written exam mainly comes from reasoning, quantitative aptitude, computer, general knowledge and English language. There will be negative marking in objective questions. The candidates who score better in written exam will be further invited for interview round. The candidate has to a score cut off marks which is decided by the selection panel for final selection. The dates which are given to candidate are tentative and can be changed if there is need arises. The bank allocates a center to each candidate where he/she can give exam. The candidates have to go to the allocated center to give the exam at the allocated time.

The selected candidate will be under probation period, duration of which will be decided by the bank. Under the probation period the candidate will be trained for various job works. The candidate must use all kind of valid documentation before and during the selection process. They should provide all valid certificates, academic details and other related documents. If the candidate find misbehaving during the selection process of provide some false information will be find guilty and ill be debarred from the entire selection process.
