I know everyone wants to work in bank to earn respect and income. But let me tell you some points you should keep in mind while deciding to choose bank as your dream sector job.
For career oriented person especially for doctors, engineers, scientist and IT professional banking sector is not a good place to start up your career.
1) You won’t grow professionally- if you enter at low level of profile as compared to your qualification, you can’t go professionally much and your income will also not grow.
2) Lot of work pressure- In banking jobs the employees have lot of pressure and responsibility for their work and they have to do work in any condition, while on the other hand there are some other bank sectors like railways and customs where the employee is having less work pressure and simultaneously he gets lots of additional facilities.
3) No self achievement- Work culture of banking sector is crediting, debiting and financial transactions related to the customer account, but there is no self achievement of the employee of the bank, since he has to do the repetition work again and again. As IT professionals are inventing or working on new things, engineers develop new technologies but banking guys have to do the same work again and again.
4) Best for graduates- Banking jobs are best for graduates of any stream and if you are graduate and looking for a job, banks are the best option but if you are looking for further studies then you must choose a specific stream like engineering, doctors or management and do the job in this specialized field only. If you are a professional from finance sector banks will pay you high with a good profile and very good platform to start for your career.
