BITSAT PilaniBITSAT Pilani Admission ProcedureBITSAT EligibilityCandidate should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central/ State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. He / She should have adequate proficiency in English. Candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. Students who are appearing for 12th examination are also eligible to appear in BITSAT. Students who passed the 12th examination a year before in which they are intend to appear for the BITSAT may apply fully explaining the reason for the gap. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT test. First rank students of all the central and state boards in India are given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. However, they should have obtained the minimum marks in PCM subjects of 12th examination, as described above. Age Limit For BITSATAge limit for all undergraduate programme where entry qualification is 12th class is 21 years. The upper age limit may be relaxable upto a maximum of five years in exceptional cases only. BITSAT Exam FormatBITSAT – BITS Admission Test is an examination of 3 hour duration (without break).
