Delhi CEE Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification (For Delhi Region Candidates)
A candidate passing any one of the following examination from recognized School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi only and securing 60 percent or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of Bachelor of Engineering Courses provided he/she passed in each subject separately:
1) Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Educational (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi.
2) Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
3) B.Sc. (Gen.) Group “A” Final Examination of the University of Delhi or equivalent exam.
4) B.Sc. (Hons.) Examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the University of Delhi with combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and equal weightage to the subsidiary subject or equivalent exam.
5) Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E. by the University of Delhi.
(For Outside Delhi Region Candidates)
A candidate passing anyone of the following examinations from the recognized School/College/Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi only and securing 60 percent or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics shall be eligible for admission to the First Semester of Bachelor of Engineering Course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately:
1) Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Educational (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi.
2) Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
3) B.Sc. (Gen.) Group “A” Final Examination of the University of Delhi or equivalent examination.
4) B.Sc. (Hons.) Examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the University of Delhi with combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and equal weightage to the subsidiary subject or equivalent examination.
Any other examination recognized as equivalent. to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E. by the University of Delhi.
Delhi CEE Scoring pattern
Each question in Delhi CEE carries 4 marks. There is negative marking too. One mark is deducted for wrong answers. No marks are awarded or deducted for questions that have not been attempted.
Delhi CEE EXAM PATTERN
Delhi CEE is a single stage examination. The duration of Delhi CEE exams is 3 hours or 180 minutes. There are 180 objective-type and multiple-choice questions to answer overall, so roughly candidates have only a minute to solve each question. There are 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Syllabus for Delhi CEE is same as CBSE syllabus specified for Class XI and XII. However, the level of questions is usually high.

Examination Centers for DCE and NSIT entrance examination invariably lie within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
Exam Fees Delhi CEE
The cost of Bulletin of Information for Delhi CEE includes examination fee and is not refundable.
For General students, OBC students, and Children or War Widows of Defence personnel killed or disabled in action, the fee is Rs 400/-.
For SC, ST and Physically Handicapped students, the fee is Rs 200/-.
There are additional charges of Rs 75/- for postal orders.
