Engineering stream
Eligibility for EAMCETThe eligibility criteria for admission to various streams through EAMCET Exam are differ form stream to stream. Only Indian nationals are allowed to get admission in the entrance test and should eligible for all the local or non-local status requirements under Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions. (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974. The eligibility requirement for different courses are as follows. Eligibility for Medical courses-For B.VSc & A.H. / B.Sc (Ag) / B.Sc (Hort) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech (FS&T) / B.Sc (CA&BM) courses, the student must have passed intermediate examination or any other equivalent exam under 10+2 pattern from Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any recognized state/national Board or university. The candidate must have passed in qualifying examination with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
For MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BNYS Courses, the admission takers have to passed Intermediate Examination / Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent exam with science subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology, from Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh any recognized Board. Eligibility for Engineering Stream For admission in Engineering stream, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), B.Tech (Dairying), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech (Food Science and Technology (FS&T)), B.Sc (Commercial Agriculture & Business Management (CA&BM) courses, the aspirants must have cleared Intermediate Examination under 10+2 scheme or its equivalent examination, from any recognized state/national Board. The candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects of qualifying examination. Exam PatternThe examination pattern of Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) has been designed according to the Medical and Engineering streams. The University conducts separate exams for these courses. The general examination pattern for EAMCET is given in the following lines.
