JIPMER - Application Procedure

JIMPER known as Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), situated at Pondicherry/Puduchery, which held an all-India entrance test (JIPMER-MBBS) for admission into various courses MBBS programms. Generally, JIPMER admits 75 candidates to the MBBS programmes each year.

Courses Offered - JIMPER

Following courses are offered by JIMPER at Undergraduate and Post Graduate level for admission to different programs.

* Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Eligibility - JIMPER

The student must meet the following eligibility criteria before submission of his/her application form. The candidates who are not meeting the eligibility criteria are not allowed to take admission in the respective colleges institues under JIMPER.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or under 10+2+3 pattern.
Students must have obtained minimum of 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Aspirant must be of the minimum age about 17 years at the time of admission.
Candidates should be an Indian national.

Exam Pattern - JIMPER

The students must follows the following exam pattern to clear JIMPER . The candidate should also practice the previous year papers to become familier with exam pattern and time duration.

The examination consists of 200 multiple choice objective type questions.
There are equal number of questions from each section of English, Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry.
There is no negative marking for wrong answer

The Syllabus for JIMPER for different subjects are given below.Students are adviced to work on exam topics according to topic importance and weightage in exam. The syllabus pattern is based on CBSE pattern.
