Indian Oil Corporation of India popularly known as IOCL is the largest commercial enterprise and state owned oil and Gas Company. This company was founded or set up in 1964 with headquarters in Mumbai. It mainly responsibility of IOCL is the maximum production of petroleum products like Oil, Petroleum, Natural Gas, Petrochemicals, Fuel and Lubricants. IOCL is an ISO 9002 certified company and is one of the leading best Oil and Gas Company in India. Every Year IOCLO i.e. Indian Oil Corporation limited conducts recruitment examination to fill the vacant seats in different departments of the organization. IOCL recruited those experienced and dedicated staffs who can take the company to its peak in the development process. IOCL offers recruitment for engineers related to civil engineering, chemical engineering, computer science & information technology, electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, mechanical engineering and metallurgical engineering. The candidate has to clear GATE exam 2012 to get position in IOCL Company. The salary provided by the Cost-to-Company (CTC), will be around Rs. 9.00 Lakhs per annum inclusive of performance related pay (PRP). Educational Qualification:The Candidates who have passed qualifying degree examinations and awarded bachelor’s degree in engineering/ technology are free to apply for the recruitment in IOCL. Apart from that Candidates, belonging to General and OBC (non- creamy layer) categories, should have secured minimum 65% marks in qualifying degree examinations. It is relaxed to ‘pass’ for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) /People with Disability (PWD) candidates from recognized Indian Universities / Institutes. All the Candidates pursuing final year of their engineering studies may also apply. However, if selected, they must be in a position to submit their final mark sheet after joining the post. Age Limit:Maximum 26 years as given according to the post for the general category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PWD candidates will be applicable as per the Presidential Directives. Reservation of posts for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ PWD (degree of disability 40% or above) will be maintained as per Government of India directives. Selection procedure:- All candidates depending upon their scores in graduate aptitude test in engineers (GATE) will be called for group discussion / group task followed by interview.
