About ICET Exam

ICET Exam is an Integrated Common Entrance Test for admission into M.B.A courses of all universities in Andhra Pradesh and their Affiliated colleges. This test is being conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), Hyderabad. ICET Exam is conducted by any one University in Andhra Pradesh.

ICET Exam Eligibility

The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions. The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
A pass (or) appearance at the final year exam of Bachelors Degree of any University in Andhra Pradesh or any other University Recognized as equivalent thereto.

The candidate seeking admission into MBA course should have passed a Bachelors Degree Exam of not less than three years duration from any recognized University or equivalent there of besides passing SSC or equivalent exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects. The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree exam shall also be eligible to appear for ICET Exam. Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.

Qualifying marks in ICET Exam is 25% and No Minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.

ICET Application Form

Duly filled-in ICET Application Forms (placed in the envelope supplied) must be submitted along with relevant documents by paying postal charges through the Head Post Offices to The Convener, ICET, Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam 530 003 (A.P.) India on or before the last date of submission of ICET Application Form.

The Demand Draft is made from any Nationalized Bank and drawn in favour of The Secretary, APSCHE, payable at Hyderabad. Application Forms Received After the specified date and Time and Incomplete Application Forms will be Summarily Rejected.

ICET Application Form Online Submission

ICET Applications Form also can be submitted online. However, a copy of the Application Form downloaded along with passport size photograph and D.D. drawn in favour of The Secretary, APSCHE, payable at Hyderabad is to be sent to the Convener, ICET. ICET SYLLABUS

The ICET Syllabus Include Three Sections:

Section-A: Analytical Ability: 75Q (75 Marks)

1. Data Sufficiency: 20Q(20 Marks)
2. Problem solving 55Q(55 Marks)
a) Sequences and series 25Q(25 Marks)
b) Data Analysis 10Q(10 Marks)
c) Coding and Decoding problems: 10Q(10 Marks)
d) Date, Time & Arrangement problems: 10Q(10 Marks)

Section-B Mathematical Ability: 75Q(75 Marks)

a. Arithmetic Ability: 35Q(35 Marks)
b. Algebrical and Geometrical ability: 30Q(30 Marks)
c. Statistical Ability:

Section C - Communication Ability: 50Q(50 Marks)

Objective Test
a. Identify vocabulary used in the day-today communication.
b. Understand the functional use of grammar in day to day communication as well in the business contexts.
c.Identify the basic terminology and concepts in computer and business context(letters, reports,memoranda,agenda, minutes etc).
d. Understand written text and draw inferences
Part 1. Vocabulary 10Q(10 Marks)
Part 2. Business and computer terminology 10Q(10 Marks)
Part 3. Functional Grammar 15Q(15 Marks)
Part 4. Reading Comprehension(3 Passages) (15 Marks)
