IIT Joint Management Entrance TestAbout IIT Joint Management Entrance Test- JMET is the admit card for the admission to the P.G course at diffferent IIT's. The aspirants will have to appear in a single paper whose duration is three hours. The exam will be held from 10:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs on Sunday, December. The medium of question paper will be in english only. IIT JMET Question Paper PatternThe nature of the question paper will be objective type questions. Candidates have to mark the correct choice by darkening at appropriate place. There will be 1/4 negative marking on each question. The entrance exam requires basic knowledge of mathmatics and english language. The various section includes in the written exam are- a) Verbal Communication b) Logical Reasoning c) Quantitative Ability d) Data Interpretation IIT JMET Application Procedure JMET Application Form has to be submitted ONLINE. ONLINE application can be submitted by visit the official website. There are two modes of applying based on the method of fee payment chossen by the cadidate. 1. By Core Banking 2. By Demand Draft The application fee is Rs.350/- for SC/ST/PD candidates and Rs. 750/- for all other candidates. Eligibility For IIT JMETIIT Bombay : A First Class degree (Min. 60% aggregate / Min. CGPA of 6.5/10) in either Engineering(Bachelor's degree or equivalent) or Master's degree in Science IIT Delhi : Minimum 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.75/10 CGPA in Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering /Technology/Architecture / Pharmacy /Agriculture Engg. (Min. 4 years after 10+2) or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/information Science, Agriculture, Commerce, Economics. There is a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST candidates. IIT Kanpur: B.E./B.Tech. In'any branch of Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate or CGPAof 6.0/10.0 in aggregate based on average over whole programme. Candidates with Architecture degree can also apply provided they have taken Mathematics at 10+2 level. IIT Kharagpur: First Class Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering/Technology or a first class Master's degree in Science, Economics or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor's level). IIT Madras . First class or equivalent in B.E./B.Tech/Master's degree in any discipline, from a recognized Institution or University. IIT Roorkee : Bachelor's degree in any discipline of Engineering / Technology or its equivalent or a Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute/University with at least 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in aggregate or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale (5.50 on a 10 point scale for SC/ST). Note : Candidates appearing for final examinations in the qualifying degree can also apply. However, they have to complete all requirements for the qualifying degree and produce a provisional certificate before a dare specified by the admitting institute.
