What is JMET - JMET Joint Management Entrance Test is an entrance exam for admission in Post Graduation management courses in IITs for students having an engineering degree or Master’s degree in science.It is the first step in the process of seeking admission to the 2-Year full time Post-Graduate Degree Programs in Management.
How to Apply For IIT JMET 2012

JMET 2012 Application Form has to be submitted ONLINE. Before ONLINE submission of application Check The Eligibility for JMET . Online Registration can be done by accessing the website of any of the IITs or IISc. There are two modes of applying based on the method of fee payment that you choose.
1) By Demand Draft   2) By Core Banking

Eligibility For JMET

IIT Bombay : A First Class degree (Min. 60% aggregate / Min. CGPA of 6.5/10) in either Engineering(Bachelor's degree or equivalent) or Master's degree in Science

IIT Delhi : Minimum 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.75/10 CGPA in Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering /Technology/Architecture / Pharmacy /Agriculture Engg. (Min. 4 years after 10+2) or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/information Science, Agriculture, Commerce, Economics. There is a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST candidates.

IIT Kanpur: B.E./B.Tech. In'any branch of Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate or CGPAof 6.0/10.0 in aggregate based on average over whole programme. Candidates with Architecture degree can also apply provided they have taken Mathematics at 10+2 level.

IIT Kharagpur: First Class Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering/Technology or a first class Master's degree in Science, Economics or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor's level). IIT Madras . First class or equivalent in B.E./B.Tech/Master's degree in any discipline, from a recognized Institution or University.

IIT Roorkee : Bachelor's degree in any discipline of Engineering / Technology or its equivalent or a Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute/University with at least 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in aggregate or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale (5.50 on a 10 point scale for SC/ST).

Note : Candidates appearing for final examinations in the qualifying degree can also apply. However, they have to complete all requirements for the qualifying degree and produce a provisional certificate before a dare specified by the admitting institute.
