How to do preparation for MBA?

Make an action plan to achieve your goal.

Goals without action plans are like empty dreams. An action plan define and direct, how the goal would be achieved and hence define the path of your destination.

While preparing for MBA entrance exam it takes around one year, so the aspirant should plan the complete year accordingly. Before making any plan two factor should always be considered the available time and the available resources.

Entire planning should be divided into four phases—
Yearly planning
Monthly planning
Weekly planning
Daily planning

Yearly planning- The yearly plan help you to visualize a big picture of the entire planning. While preparing for MBA the aspirants should be well managed with his time and resources. It contain learning phase of duration 10 months, then revision phase of 1 ½ months and the last is rapid review phase of 15 days.

Monthly Planning- The entire yearly plan is break up into monthly plan where the entire syllabus is divided into the different units which have to be completed in respective months. Leave 2-3 days in a month as a free days so as to cover up if there is any delay in the monthly plan.

Weekly Planning- The unit covered in the month is divided into different week of the months and accordingly weekly plans are made.

Daily planning- Its a customised and personal plan . The MBA aspirant should make this plan according to his conveniences and it varies from day to day.

Some of the things you keep in mind while making planning and preparation are—

1) Practising answering the question in the examination condition.
2) Learn from the mock exam and tests.
3) Revision makes you perfect, revision many times.
4) Organise your time well
5) Take adequate number of very similar test this will help you to well familiarised with the exam process and conditions.
6) Vary subjects, topics and methods during your revision.
7) Getting used to exam tension and pressure.
